PRELIMINARY
DELETE THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD PROFILE
To delete the username and password profile details, perform the following
steps:
1. From the Preferences - Username/Password profile, select the
username and password profile to be deleted from the Username/
Password section and click the Delete button.
ACCESS PROFILES -
WMI CREDENTIAL
This option allows you to set WMI Profiles for ECView Pro.
To add a WMI profile, perform the following steps:
1. From the left panel, select ECView Pro > Access Profile > WMI
Credential. You will see the WMI Credential screen on the right panel
of the Preferences dialog box.
2. From the Preferences - WMI Credential screen, click the Add button.
You will see the WMI Profile Management dialog box.
3. In the Profile section, enter the following details:
Enter a name for the profile you are creating in the Profile Name
field.
Enter a description for the profile you are creating in the Description
field.
Enter the Windows Domain in which the PC is located.
Enter the user name in the “Username” field. The user name should
have Administrator (power user) access on the PC.
Enter a password in the “Password” field.
Retype the password in the “Confirm Password” field.

OTE
:
On the managed PC, make sure WMI is enabled through one of the
following methods:
Command Line Mode: From the Windows console, enter:
X:\netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin
Windows Registry (Editor Version 5.00): Set the registry value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa]
"forceguest"=dword:00000000
4. Click OK. You will return to the WMI Credential dialog.
5. The WMI Credential profile that has been created will be displayed in
the WMI Profiles section.
